Sierra Wilensky is a multimedia artist working primarily in lens based media, installation, and sound.
She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
Her work contends with the pull towards extremes in society and culture, and confronts the fracturing of the self through the contemporary visual information landscape.
She has exhibited across the United States in New York City, Oregon, and North Carolina.
She studied anthropology and music at Brandeis University in Waltham Massachusetts, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Reed College in Portland, Oregon in 2019. She is currently an MFA student in photography at Parsons School of Design.
